The Dust of War crew is pumped to announce that we’ve been invited to the Trail Dance Film Festival in Duncan, Oklahoma, January 24-25! Dust of War is scheduled to screen on Saturday (the 25th) at 6:45 p.m. in the Simmons Center, and we’re honored to be a part of such a highly regarded film festival.
For those of you who don’t know, Trail Dance is often considered to be one of the most fun film festivals in the U.S. and has been voted onto MovieMaker Magazine’s “Top Festivals Worth The Submission Fee” list multiple years in a row. Bottom line: it’s a pretty big deal.
To add to the excitement, Dust of War has been nominated for several awards, including:
- Best Narrative Feature
- Best Director
- and Best Actor (for our stoic and devilishly handsome lead, Steven Luke)
Not only do the Dust of War crew members plan to attend the festival, but a few are excited to be making their return to Trail Dance after they were invited last year for their short film, Paper People. Needless to say, the DoW crew is fond of Duncan, Oklahama, and we can’t wait to get back there again this weekend.
Thanks for all of your support and encouragement as we continue to do big things with Dust of War. Although we can’t get into the details yet, it’s possible we have some HUGE news coming up in the near future, so be ready for that.
Until then, we hope to see you at Trail Dance. Otherwise, we’ll be back with more news soon. Keep up the good work, Dust of Warriors!
